Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University
Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University is a federal state autonomous educational institution of higher education. In 2010, it received the status of a national research university, which was a recognition of its role and capabilities both in the field of personnel training and in multidisciplinary scientific research and development. In the ranking of technical universities of Russia, Polytechnic University invariably occupies leading positions. The total number of foreign students exceeds 8,500 people from 120 countries. One of the university’s divisions is the Higher School of International Programs, which carries out pre-university training in the humanities, engineering and economics profiles according to standard, intensive and semester programs.
